Prayer Request

It is 3:30AM Saturday here, and 10:30AM Saturday in Kenya. I have just watched D and 10 other friends leave on a flight to JFK. At JFK they will board an Emirates Airline flight to Dubai. This is a 13 hour flight. Sunday, they leave Dubai at 10AM and arrive in Nairobi at 2:15PM. This group is headed to the Bondo region - see earlier post. My specific prayer request today - safety in travel and prayers for the health of a team member, Peggy. Peggy was in an accident and is traveling with a cracked rib. So if you are reading this blog - please stop and pray now, and then pray each time you happen to drink water. Use this as a reminder as the people of Kenya are in great need of water to drink for their physical needs as they hear about the water that cleanses our spirits.

Enjoyed visiting your lovely, beautifully done blog. I did 7 years of volunteer work (Peace Corps)in Thailand and Laos many years ago, thus your article on the Kenya trip was especially noteworthy to me. Best regards, Jon

I am about to go get a glass of water and pray. Thanks for the reminder of our own blessing and others' need. Blessings for all of you as they travel. BTW, I loved your last post on Friday the 13th--read most out loud with my daughter and we rolled on the floor laughing at the psycho who wasn't sure if he(she) was suicidal or just wanted to kill SOMEBODY. Glad you're home safe and sorry you had to endure such a day. Praying for Potato Chip to feel better with those migraines and for people who have to communicate to learn English better--both would bless us. Thanks for both posts that make us think and appreciate our lives. Safe travels, and much blessing on their work.
